I am getting serious Lara Croft, Tomb Raider vibes with this look today. It has been a while since I plaited my hair and it can certainly transform your mane if you are having a bad hair day like me. For today’s blog post I wanted to talk about my latest Femme Luxe* outfits, I’ve been kindly sent a few pieces from the Femme Luxe collection and I managed to snap a few shots this week. The first item I wanted to talk about was this particular black corset, I love the unique shape and it really does pull your waist in. It has butterfly hooks at the front and thin black straps that can hide your bra straps.
I’m not a big fan of showing my bra straps so I like that this corset hides them well. I simply had to grab my faux leather trousers to finish this look but light denim jeans would be my next choice. For my next outfit choice, I went for something totally out of my comfort zone - bright blue and patterned. The bodycon dress is actually figure hugging and it has a high neck design and a thigh high split on the side. We all know I’m not a big risk taker when it comes to colours and patterns but something about this dress just drew me in. I would definitely wear this dress for dinner and drinks, it goes well with Perspex heels but a nude pair of stilettos would also look amazing.
My final outfit pick is a black co-ord set, it includes a ribbed bodycon mini skirt and a long sleeved, fitted zip cardigan. When I first caught a glimpse of myself in this outfit, I was shocked at how it snatched my waist in! The skirt is incredibly flattering and it really creates an hourglass figure illusion. This would look great with trainers or if you wanted to grab a pair of scrappy heels to dress it up. What do you think of my outfit picks today?
