Two Piece Set - Femme Luxe*

For today's blog post I wanted to spice up my wardrobe and wear something slightly out of my comfort zone. I was contacted by the lovely team at Femme Luxe to review an item of clothing from their website and I decided to pick something totally different. We all know my wardrobe includes a lot of dresses so I thought I would pick a co-ord set. The only thing that has made me hesitant about the co-ord trend is that I am not very curvy or comfortable with my mid section but I thought I would give this trend a try.

I have been obsessed with leopard print for years and I jumped at the chance to wear a matching set. Femme Luxe have a pretty incredible selection when it comes to the latest trends so there are plenty of leopard and snake print items to go around. When my parcel arrived, I was praying that the outfit would look flattering with my body type. I can honestly say when I first slipped the trousers and crop top on, the outfit fit me like a glove.

I was so surprised how well the trousers fitted me and I didn't even need to adjust the length. The most shocking part of this outfit is that it is actually really flattering from behind. I usually look swamped in trousers but the fit was amazing. I don't have the most toned stomach but the design of the trousers were high waisted enough to cover my lumps and actually suck me in! It is one thing to love a popular trend but it is another to actually wear it yourself and feel confident and comfortable. 

When it came to finding the right shoes for this mini blog shoot, I was actually pretty torn. The fabric is so soft and comfortable that you can easily dress this down and wear it with a pair of trainers. I would even wear this around the house! I decided to wear my classic strappy sandals because this co-ord set would be ideal for a dinner or drinks session. It was quite a struggle to pose on the stairs with stiletto heels on though...

I am over the moon that I have a co-ord set that I can wear for any occasion, whether I want to dress this set up or make it more casual for the daytime. For the colour scheme, I think leopard print is a great neutral trend to have in your wardrobe, I know some people aren't crazy about it but I think this particular design is very wearable and not too bold or over the top.
