Would you like to know a secret? This bright, lime green dress from Boohoo is actually supposed to be for the beach or swimming pool. That's right. This is a fancy beach cover up and I liked it so much that I decided to wear it as an evening dress instead. The weather is slowly heating up and I love the idea of wearing long, floaty dresses that have a slight twist. This split is incredibly high but you can either pin the split or just wear a bodysuit underneath. This is certainly a popular trend floating around right now. 

For today's blog post I wanted to talk about this dress and also give you all a little update about what I've been up to. I will be heading to Paris next week to celebrate my birthday and I will certainly be packing this green dress with me. The fabric is incredibly comfortable and although the split is pretty risky, I think it is quite flattering and fun to wear. I would never wear a bright lime green shade but it suits the spring season perfectly and I have been loving switching up my wardrobe style lately. 

The fabric is quite stretchy so it hugs your shape in all the right places. For my Paris wardrobe I will also be looking for a similar dress in white and Boohoo have a very impressive collection on their website right now. I would love to find a playsuit in a similar lime green shade. Now when it came to finding a pair of heels for this dress, I wanted to wear my classic nude sandals, yes I am pretty predictable when it comes to my heels but I want to keep the attention on the fresh, lime colour of this outfit and I personally love wearing sandal heels.

The Primark range is very comfortable to wear and I can wear the heels for hours and my feet don't feel anything! What do you think of this colour? Are you a fan of high split dresses?
