When I’m not running after Sofia, heading to work or trying to create blog content, I enjoy nothing more than getting dressed up and grabbing a cocktail or two. The summer season is officially in full swing and when I began typing this blog post, I was relaxing in the sunshine while Sofia was having her afternoon nap. Of course in true England style, we fast forward to Monday evening and the rain hasn't stopped. It’s hard to believe we were in a full on heatwave during Sofia's birthday two months ago, which brings me to today’s blog post. I was so excited when Chi Chi clothing dropped me an email to see if I could style a few items from their range.One of the dresses I picked just suited my style perfectly, I was so excited to wear it to Sofia’s birthday party. I was also excited to grab a pair of my heels and wear it while drinking a cocktail in the hot weather later on. For me, this Printed Cami Slip Midi Dress* is the perfect staple midi dress that you can dress up for the evening or wear with sandals during the day. I think the lilac tone is subtle enough to wear out for dinner and not just for packing in your suitcase for your next holiday. I'm not a big fan of bold, bright colours so I love how muted this lilac dress is, the fabric is stunning and for me, this is the perfect dress to add to your wardrobe. If you wanted to make this dress ready for the autumn weather, an oversized, knitted cardigan or jumper would suit this dress perfectly. I'll be grabbing my plain white trainers so I can wear this outfit for shopping trips or running after Sofia. After the past two years, I am grabbing any chance I get to dress up!
