Comfort and practicality now plays a big part with my everyday wardrobe. I did actually bring a pair of heels for this outfit but I am now converted to a comfy pair of trainers. Back ache is a new pregnancy trait I have inherited which means I can't be on my feet for too long, especially wearing a thin heel. I'm not complaining, I am so excited to be pregnant but I just need to be more practical with my shoe options. I don't fancy falling head first because of my strappy, sandal heels. Luckily for me, I quite like the look of trainers with tube skirts. This particular tube skirt is from Pretty Little Thing and although it is a size 6, it easily stretches across my bump so I feel very comfortable and secure when I am wearing it. I have kissed my leather trousers goodbye and I am mostly in dresses or skirts now. Stretchy fabric may look cool and figure hugging, but grabbing a big baggy jumper makes this outfit really wearable and slightly warmer. The lovely nude, caramel colour palette for this outfit is gorgeous and I don't feel dumpy or overwhelmed by the different textures. It can be tricky to find the right nude shade for my complexion so a camel shade skirt is still flattering for my skin tone. The weather is still pretty chilly in London at the moment so I don't mind hanging a big fur coat from my shoulders.
This particular teddy coat was stolen from Lydia, she usually wears the teddy coat with light, denim jeans and a simple t-shirt and she always looks incredible with it. The brown shade certainly suits any skin tone and I will most definitely be adding this to my shopping list. Back to the jumper, this particular bardot style jumper is comfortable but the bardot style design is what made me fall in love. I think the gold cross necklace adds a bit of glamour to the jumper and grabbing my bronzer and fake tan certainly completed this look. What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of nude outfits? Let me know how you dress/dressed your baby bump! ♥
