'Feel Good' Denim Jumpsuit - Mistress Rocks

At the start of the year I promised myself that I would step out of my wardrobe comfort zone. Don't get me wrong, I still adore my usual leather outfits and vinyl dresses but I wanted to try another denim number. If you haven't seen my previous denim post, you can catch up here. This particular jumpsuit is from Mistress Rocks, the sister brand of House of CB. It is certainly giving me Sandy from Grease vibes with a sprinkle of the 70's. 

I love the deep plunge detailing and popper fastenings at the front but this jumpsuit is pretty fitted on the waist, I definitely recommend buying a size up to be on the safe side. If you are blessed with a slim waist, this jumpsuit will fit you like a dream. I was certainly breathing in for dear life when I took these photos, I definitely needed a size small instead of an XS, pasta and pizza will always win and I'm not even sorry. Waist size aside though, this is probably one of nicest jumpsuits I have ever tried on.

I felt very confident wearing this and I found it very flattering on my hips and backside - it actually gave me curves.When it came to taking blog photos for this look, the setting is slightly out of my comfort zone. I usually prefer white, glamourous backgrounds for photos but this is quite trendy and quirky for me. I love switching things around and I think it is important to try new things, especially when it comes to your own blog. Lydia is pure magic when it comes to using a camera and she has an amazing eye for finding locations for my blog shoots, including this one. 

She also knows how to style clothes - including the trouser legs of this jumpsuit. I love that you can tuck the denim legs over to show off your heels. The Primark sandal stilettos have been worn constantly and I know I should branch out a little but I am so obsessed with these heels. They are quite high but super comfortable. I am pretty predictable when it comes to my high heels and I love simple straps. This jumpsuit looks amazing with heels or you could make it super casual with a pair of Gucci Ace watersnake-trimmed trainers, they have gone to the top of my wish list.
