femme luxe series #22 ♥

I’m kicking off 2021 with a brand new Femme Luxe* post. As you all know I can find it pretty tricky to take outfit photos when Sofia is running around but lately she’s been quite happy to sit and pose in front of the camera with me. For my first outfit I picked a black satin dress, I have worn this dress in a rusty tan shade and a deep red colour. I don’t think you can go wrong with black, it never goes out of style and this dress is so easy to wear, whether you want to dress it up or down. This little satin dress is perfect for layering as well, if I’m not wearing this by itself, I’ll grab my faux leather blazer to wear over it. 

For my next outfit, I decided to wear something totally out of my colour comfort zone - meaning I’m not wearing my usual black or nude colour palette. You can't go wrong with loungewear at the moment. I saw this bright lilac tracksuit and I fell in love with it. It just looked so comfy and perfect to wear in this miserable weather. When the tracksuit arrived I was not disappointed, it feels like you are wearing a cloud. The inside is so soft it is simply perfect when you want to cosy up on the sofa or if you want to take the dogs for a walk. I know I'm overdoing the mirror selfie but I have to be honest, I love this gold mirror frame. 

It can be quite tricky taking outfit photos during lockdown but hopefully my photos do the outfits justice. Next we have a slightly more fitted loungewear set, I also have this in grey and this is pretty much my everyday outfit. When I’m running around after Sofia or popping to the shops, this loungewear set it comfortable to wear and it looks great with trainers and a big faux fur coat. Now for my final outfit, we have a a classic, nude bodycon dress. I absolutely love the long sleeves and ruched design. Pair this with a mini bag and diamonte jewellery and this is a perfect nod to the 00’s. 

I really love how flattering this dress is and when the pandemic is finally over, this will be on top of my night out outfits list. What do you think of my outfit picks today?
