current beauty favourites #03 ♥

I am back with a brand new beauty favourite's post and yes, it is still a very strange time right now. Lockdown is still in the air but I am trying my best to stay positive. I know people find different ways to cope with a difficult situation and for me, self-care is certainly high on my list. I thought I would round up a few of my favourite products that I have been using during a lockdown and I wanted to start with fake tan. We all know I am obsessed with tanning and I usually use a tanning mousse, but when I am jumping out of the shower, tanning oil is now my product of choice. Quick and easy to use, I love applying the Skinny Tan & Tone Oil* just when I get out of the shower.
Not only does the oil hydrate my skin but it creates a subtle, healthy glow and best of all, it takes less than a minute to apply. This is certainly a plus because I still have to put Sofia in the buggy when I am using the shower, so I am definitely restricted for time. The oil contains guarana berries and the formula is free from parabens, cruelty-free and it is suitable for vegans. The next product I am loving is the Rapid Lash Eyelash Enhancing Serum*, I actually reviewed this serum a few weeks ago but I wanted to include it in today's post as well. If you are looking to improve the quality of your natural lashes, you simply apply the serum to your lash line before you go to bed.

It really is as simple as that. For fragrance, this week I have been using the COCO Mademoiselle Chanel Eau De Parfum. Launched in 2001, COCO Mademoiselle contains orange, mimosa, jasmine and patchouli. One spray is all you need and it lasts for hours, if I had to describe this perfume, I would use rich, deep and seductive because after you spray it, you certainly understand why women are obsessed with this fragrance. It really does live up to the hype. I loved the perfume bottle so much that I actually bought an empty bottle to use as a decoration on my coffee table. The COCO Chanel bottle is simply iconic and I think this makes the perfect gift, for a birthday, Christmas or Valentine's Day. The next product I wanted to talk about is a new favourite of mine, I was kindly sent the new Stila Summer collection to try.
The Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Waterproof mascara* needed to be in today's blog post. The waterproof version is new for 2020 and after testing this mascara out for a few weeks, I think the formula is heaven in a tube. Who knew you could become obsessed with mascara formula? The wand, the packaging, the bristles - the mascara works wonders for your lashes and you can create intense, OMG lashes with just a few strokes. It doesn't look cakey or clumpy and the staying power is brilliant. If you are looking for a good quality mascara, I can't rave about this mascara enough. Last but not least, we have the Primark PS...Nudes Glow Iridescent Jelly Highlighter.
Obviously, I am not going out at the moment but earlier this year I picked up this jelly from Primark and I was pretty impressed when I applied it over my tan on my chest area. It creates intense shimmer and it creates the illusion that you've just stepped off the beach. Super easy to use and apply, I am loving this highlighter. It creates a healthy glow and I love wearing it on my collar bone and cheeks. So there we have it, a few of my favourite products that I have been loving recently. I've been using them for different periods of time but I thought it was well overdue to round them up and put them in my Current Beauty Favourites series. What products are you loving at the moment? Let me know what products you have tried from today's post ♥
