I don't know why but I have always had a soft spot for gift sets. I love the idea that you can try out your favourite beauty product and you also have the chance to try something new or something you wouldn't usually add to your shopping basket. When it comes to No 7 skincare, I am always excited to see what new products they have added to their collection. There is certainly never a dull moment in the No 7 skin care line and I was so excited when my brother bought me the Glow Your Own Way gift set for Christmas. Like most products, I wanted to spend some time properly testing them out and I finally managed to take the photos of the gift set too.
With Mother's Day right around the corner, I think the No 7 range is a lovely gift idea and there are so many different options to choose from. I wanted to start with my favourite product from the range, the Nourishing Hydration face mask. We all know I am obsessed with face masks so I was really excited to try this mask out. First of all, I like that the face mask is pump, I'm normally used to using sachets with my face masks so I like that I can control how much product I apply to my skin. There is a lot of product in this bottle and the formula is designed to give your skin a much needed boost if it is dry. I usually apply this mask and leave it on for 20 minutes, it gently wash it off with the muslin cloth provided and I can instantly feel how smooth my skin is afterwards. It is a dream to apply and this particular face mask is certainly in my top 3 of all time. It feels like a little trip to the spa and my skin is definitely happy with this product.
Next we have the Overnight Recovery Gel Cream, I found this formula really cooling, non sticky and it just adds another level of pampering to my skin care routine. It has Pollution Shield Technology and it is designed to give your skin the chance to re-energise. It isn't heavily fragranced but it does smell light and fresh. Overall, I think this gift set is incredible, I am really trying to improve my skincare routine at the moment and I think this gift set has something for everyone, the range is suitable for sensitive skin which is a bonus for me because my mum has really, really sensitive skin so this means these products are ideal for Mother's Day.
