femme luxe series #27 ♥

It is time for a new Femme Luxe post and this week I am feeling slightly more dressed up, even if we are still in lockdown. I was kindly sent a selection of Femme Luxe* outfits to style and I do really miss dressing up for cocktails. Don't get me wrong, I am still loving the loungewear vibes but I have missed putting on a pair of heels and a dressy top. This brings me to my first outfit pick, a black lace bodysuit with faux leather leggings. I have not worn a bodysuit in quite some time but this lace bodysuit is all you need to transform your outfit from casual to dressy. I am wearing a size 8/10 and it fits perfectly, it isn't tight or uncomfortable and it goes so well with my faux leather leggings. 

I absolutely love the lace detailing on this bodysuit and the deep, plunge neckline is really flattering without making you feel too exposed. When we can finally head out for drinks, I'll be wearing this little number. If you wanted to make this bodysuit slightly more casual, I would grab a pair of baggy jeans, a matching denim shirt and trainers. I think layering is a great way to make an outfit more casual and adding oversized clothes into the mix is another easy way to style this bodysuit. For my next outfit pick, I finally tried a matching loungewear combination, the shorts and short sleeved jumper is a dream to wear if you are having a Netflix and popcorn day in bed. 

The shorts and top are really soft and I love mixing up my loungewear collection. When the weather warms up, I think this will be a great option if you are running errands because you can easily pair this combo with trainers or sandals. Yes, I am missing the summer weather if you can't tell. Femme Luxe have this outfit in a few other colours but personally, I don't think you can go wrong with black. I actually popped the lace bodysuit underneath the short sleeved jumper and tucked it up slightly. My next outfit pick had to be a classic pair of grey tracksuit bottoms. I'm actually wearing them while I'm typing this blog post, they are so comfortable and you can wear them for anything. 

Whether you are going for a socially distanced walk or if you're getting cosy in bed watching Vampire Diaries...like me. Easy and comfortable to wear; I think everyone needs a comfy pair of tracksuit bottoms in their wardrobe, especially with lockdown. Last but certainly not least, we have another loungewear set but this nude cable knit combination includes a midi skirt. I saw this set on the Femme Luxe website and I fell in love instantly. The sand colour is gorgeous and I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear this with a pair of trainers. It is really easy to wear and it is really practical.
