the excel baby show ♥

On Sunday afternoon Ollie and I travelled to London ExCeL to visit The Baby Show. I was kindly given a press pass to cover the event and I was so excited to arrive. I have been to quite a few shows at ExCeL from Comic Con to Professional Beauty so it is quite a surreal feeling attending a baby show now that I am 5 month pregnant. I didn't know what to expect but I knew it would be busy. I was not wrong. As we arrived at ExCeL, the people were bustling around inside and jumping from stand to stand.

It was a really exciting atmosphere and you still can't grasp how big the ExCeL centre is until you arrive inside. From baby clothes to pushchairs, there was a stand for everything and if you've been reading my Baby Diary series, then you'll know we have just started to look at buggy's. Luckily for us, the buggy brand that we love were exhibiting. We made our way to the egg stand and we were lucky enough to order the buggy at the show. We saved quite a bit of money from ordering the buggy at the show because they offered you a big bundle deal.

We were able to order the egg stroller, carry cot, cream fleece liner, changing bag and a car seat all together. It has saved us a lot of hassle trying to buy the items individually and we saved a few hundred pounds because the items were sold together. I am so glad we waited until the show to order the buggy and the staff were incredibly helpful when it came to showing us the different features. I am still new to the baby world so it was really great to see demonstrations and special features for the buggy and car seat.

After we made our way from the egg stand, we saw the large Mothercare stand area. This stand had everything, from cots to toys, there was a lot to go through. As luck would have it, another brand was being sold at the Mothercare stand for a discounted price. We were able to order a brand new SnuzPod3 for 10% off and the bundle deal included blankets and a large pocket, I'll probably use this for keeping the spare blankets. I couldn't believe how many top brands were exhibiting and the discounts certainly added up. We also ordered a Sleepyhead pod and saved £13 and were able to get free delivery, just from ordering at the show.

Not only were there countless products to buy but there were also guest speakers on stage to talk about different parenting topics. There was also a feeding area for busy mums and you had a variety of food hot spots to choose from. So overall, would I recommend The Baby Show? We really had a nice day at the show, it was great to see the brands up close because you could ask them any questions and you also save a lot of money because of the show offers. As a mum to be, I found the day really useful and I can't recommend it enough. It was definitely worth the journey ♥
